great location. breakfast reasonable choice and nice Asian selection.

rooms a bit tired.. could do with a daily change of tissue bin in toilet. WiFi very slow (10 to 20 and multiple dropouts), recommend get a SIM if you need any real bandwidth.

A great location right on the beach, away from the main street and all the noise and crowds but still 10mins walk to the "center ". Room was cleaned every day, and water was provided. They also picked us up from the ferry harbor free of charge. Staff was nice but some of them didn't understand English that well.

It's a "muslim" hotel, so no alcohol sold there, but a bar to buy a cold beer is just next door. No hot water in the shower, that was the only thing we didn't like..

Close to the beach

Old, dark and uncomfortable rooms. Our AC had black mold and has not been cleaned in years. We booked a „beachfront“ bungalow - however, the view towards beach/sea was blocked by a massage center. Overpriced for the level of comfort and breakfast received.

You get the best experience for value of money. Staff is very caring, property is clean, we also had friends to visit our bungalow (🕷️) and the staff helped us 😊 The only cons is that breakfast menu is very tight for europeans because all you can eat is eggs.

Rooms are a little dark, that's all.

We stayed at Chareena beach bungalows for 4 days and enjoyed it a lot. The bungalows are a little old but have everything you need, plus the hotel offers additional services such as daytrips/tours, laundry, jetty transfers, etc. The location is amazing right at the best beach of the island but far enough from the main street to have a good night sleep. Also, the on site restaurant had great food like pad thai and papaya salad!
