Oasis Hotel

A little run down for $180 per night but at one time, this place was cool. No hot water didn’t help

I made a poor choice with Oasis. If you want to party stay her as they have a club on the roof. If you want to sleep before 2 am DO NOT STAY HERE. The music was so loud in our room I could hear it through ear plugs and over the ear noise cancelling head phones. We left a night early. They offered to refund a night but never did. I feel like Oasis lied from the start in their advertisement on Expedia. Oasis should communicate they are a club first and hotel second so people don't waste their money. When you walk in the hotel it looks nice. The rooms are nice, more like apartments than hotels. The first thing you notice though is a horrendous smell of body odor. It’s prevalent throughout the hotel. Additionally our room had mold on the ceiling and the ac didn’t work. It was clearly malfunctioning and making a lot of loud noises and it didn’t cool the room. This hotel has potential but they need to make a decision if they want to be a club or a hotel because you can’t satisfy hotel patrons wanting some rest and play ridiculous club music until 2am.

Centrally located in the heart of Casco Viejo. Staff is attentive, friendly, and keep the rooms very clean. Great rooftop bar too!

The hotel is fantastic. BUT big BUT the rooftop loud music kills any good review. It would be fantastic for it to be a nice soft music bar to enjoy and relax. Instrad, it wants to be like a disco with super loud music reverberating through the building, drunk people leaving the premises screaming and laughing out loud at 2am

We had an amazing experience! Great location, all the staff, Kiara, Alex, Yaniris, Claudia & Jamilet, were very polite, friendly & accommodating! We highly recommend this hotel!

Big room, a bit tired but fun 'oasis' décor with comfortable beds. Housekeeping was very sweet. Love Casco Viejo area BUT this location is at the entrance to this area on a busy street, with loud music and honking cars until 4am, next to a night club. Lobby was hot and could not find the staff when we arrived. Wish we had stayed around the corner or closer to the heart of this area.

We stayed in the room called comfort duplex for three nights. Here are a few considerations: - There is a noisy lounge on the top floor that has club level music reverberating throughout the hotel since there is an open space in the middle of the building from top to bottom. (It seems like the hotel is a retrofit that closed in the courtyard.) It shares an elevator and entrance with the hotel, which meant there were loud partiers whooping in the lobby. We stayed there from Thurs - Sat, there was loud music every night. However, the last night was the loudest and longest, we were kept up until 3:30 am. I gave the service two stars because I was offered a refund for this night, which I do appreciate. I think this hotel needs to decide whether it's an oasis to relax in or a party hotel, because it can't be both. The advertising should reflect this. - I found the advertising on the suite to be somewhat misleading. It says it has window screens. However, the windows do not look into the outdoors, but rather into the lobby, and there is a lot of light that comes into the room. We nicknamed the room our "bright cave" because there is no natural light but too much lobby light (as well as emergency and AC lights that can't be turned off) for there to be a comfortable level of dark in the room. Looking at the site afterward, it must be rooms with a "city view" that have real windows. Also, cookware is advertised but there are no pots or pans, so don't depend on using the stove.

The hotel is great

Oasis Hotel was comfortable with very nice and interesting room layouts. Location in Casco Viejo was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was street noise at night.
