Washington Park Motel

Easy check in. Manager friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean. Having Airbnbs I am picky. The room was simple and clean. Bed comfortable. Room was small, but not a surprise since made clear in description. Not a fan of barn style door for bathroom because open spaces on sides limit privacy in bathroom. So , would ask about door on bathroom of room you book if that is an issue (room #3). Good place to stay if you are just needing a clean and updated, modern place to sleep and shower. Not a spa oasis by any means, but can’t beat for the price. The grounds could use some TLC and landscaping, but not the type of place you would be spending time outside. Also, manager that lives on site has a dog that they walk off leash, so if you are bringing a pet or children that are afraid of dogs be cautious or ask management to pls keep dog on leash while you are there.

Kristen and Mark go above and beyond for your stay. You may not think so pulling up and lower price but open the door ( and we have stayed in a number of them) you will find the cutest cleanest and coziest place ever! I will always make Washington Park my first choice when in the area

Room was perfectly clean and comfortable, and the shower worked well. Would have helped to have another surface to put suitcase since there was only one simple chair in the room. Would have helped to have directions for operation of coffee machine -- I had to go out to local fast food to get my morning coffee. Biggest concern: the bathroom was so small that I had to twist my way around the sink to get access to the toilet.

It's a motel. That should have told me. The lady at check in was friendly and helpful. The room was tiny and very old school, tiny bathroom. It was clean enough though. No hair dryee in room but did have small frig and microwave. Run down exterior made me wonder if it was safe when my room was on back side of building. However, I slept well.

We are so happy with our stay here,, it truly feels like stay at a family members home, nice comfy and quiet

Pealing paint even off the shower tray. Has to squeeze in to the bathroom and I am by no means heavy set.

Tiny motel that we drove by twice before finding it. Room was clean and lady at the office was nice. But the room was tiny -- only a double bed.tv on a stand, tiny desk and fridge (with microwave on top) in the room. Bathroom was like on a boat, barely room for one. Sketchy folks out back, kids playing in parking lot. Smell of smoke in the room. Seemed like a lot of $ for what you got.

Sketchy people hanging in back parking lot smoking weed and still there when we escaped early the next morning. The tiny room smelled like cigarettes and everything in the room was showing serious wear and tear because everything was done so cheaply. The bathroom was a tiny closet that had peeling ceiling paint and peeling shower floor. The towels were small and thin and there was a gross smell coming from somewhere in there. I could go on and on but the bottom line is dont stay here.
