Washington Park Motel

The staff was wonderful. The property and room do not match what you see online on the websites. My room was perfectly fine size for a quick one night stay for 2. However the bathroom set up is not convenient for people to use. The toilet is practically under the sink, which makes for no space while using toilet, and caused a few elbow strikes against the edge of sink. The bathroom should be restructured so it is user friendly. The one small chair in room was broken,bso you couldn't use it for sitting or for even placing something on. Should just take it out. Lastly and pretty important - the room was on parking lot level, unfortunately one of the windows was not able to be locked next to the AC unit, and there was nothing to wedge it so it would stay shut for safety. That is very bad. We were lucky to have family nearby and grabbed some wood to use as wedge on window. Price was okay, but not sure we will stay again when we are up there.

This place is the worst motel compared to the other hotels/motels I've lived in during my travels for many years. First, I got scammed and cheated on. I booked the "deluxe studio suite" with two beds from Expedia and paid the full amount when I booked it. My family has 3 adults. However, when I arrived at the motel, the staff gave me a squished miniscule room with ONE bed. I told the staff that the room was diiferent than the one I booked and paid but they said, "The room you bought has been sold out." I argued and said that I paid the full price and they should have reserved that room in advance. Since they couldn't change it, they added a second foldable bed. The room was cramped but adding the second bed turned navigating the place into nightmare. The foldable bed's mattress had huge urine marks. Secondly, the room is very dirty. Live ants and insects can be found on the floor in the shower room, on the wall and under the bath mat. This motel deserves the "ecofriendly award' for that the humans and insects live together. Thirdly, this motel is located far away from any transportation so if you didn't drive here you'd need to get a taxi. There is a huge garbage bin 5-6 meters from my room door. There is no ice machine and the staff have no moral bottom line. They could pay clients and friends to write positive goole reviews. From my experience, I do not trust Expedia and google reviews. This experience destroyed my vacation. I learned a lesson from this life experience.

Everything was in good order was easy to get in and out

The place was really cosy! You don’t hear the people in the other rooms and it’s very clean. We had an amazing stay, and you have everything you need within 3-5 min drive.

We were just there for one night, so it was good.

I had a great experience at Washington Park Motel. Gabby reached out to me and ensured I was greeted at the front desk at my arrival by Cristen. Cristen could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The room was very clean and super comfortable. I requested a late checkout, which ended up being even later than I thought. Cristen very graciously accommodated my request and told me to take my time. I thought I had left an item behind and reached out to both Cristen and Gabby who immediately responded and started looking for the item. I was in the area for an annual event. I'm so pleased that I found the Washington Park Motel and will definitely book a room in the coming years.

The locations was convenient for me, the staff very friendly and the room clean.

Room was very clean and quiet. One suggestion would be to put room darkening curtains in room 14. The security light shone right in the room.

It is overall a great place which includes a bit of everything, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, awesome price...just 1 minor thing which can easily be corrected and overlooked...its the placement of the room ac unit

room was very small especially the bathroom. looks to be newly remodeled. overall nice place.
