"Absolutely lovely get away, quiet, great to recharge, close to terrific walks and some nice wild life and incredible vie"

10.0

Incredibly clean and cosy cottage, great breakfast supplies with Jams, cereals, juice, bread in the freezer. outlook was lovely with constantly changing views of the mountain. very quite and private. ideally located to easily get to a lot of walks in and around Mt Barney and only 30mins from Mount Alford region. Can’t recommend highly enough. Bring your own wood and starters for the fire it’s worth it. unsealed roads in the area and near the property and careful on the drive in as a decent ditch heading to the properties gate.

Ditch on driveway into property otherwise all terrific

"Disappointing!"

great for watching kangaroos in front of the cottage

This is a chalet not a cottage , very dated kitchen , limited cutlery, linens poor, no bathroom hand wash provided, the barbecue area was not inviting at all ,insufficient local information ,no info re shopping, doctors , hospitals etc,

"Seclusion, serenity and solitude in abundance with compromising on comfort."

10.0

This was a lovely cottage in a very scenic location that was tastefully appointed with quality furnishings and fittings. It was also generously equipped with continental breakfast items to make for an easy and convenient stay given the distance to the nearest shops. It was also very quiet and private and an ideal location for a relaxing few days.

There was nothing about the cottage that we did not like. The only 'negative' - if you could call it that - was that mobile phone reception was limited (even on Telstra) and even less internet. That said, this limited connectivity can also be a huge positive if solitude is what you are seeking. It certainly did not detract from our experience.

"Peaceful."

8.0

Property was absolutely beautiful! Stepping onto the balcony, you were greeted with the view of Mt Barney. The property was clean and had bread, cereal, soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels and more. Overall, it’s a great property to connect back to nature and have peace.

Given the location, it is understandable but, a couple things that I wish the property had was street lights leading up to the property, clear signs to get to the property and WiFi. Other than that, everything was amazing.
