Chateau Mar Golf Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Bed was clean and comfortable. The decor in the lobby was nice.

Lobby had a bad odor. Elevator floor dirty. Room floor gritty. Shower had a pubic hair on the shower ffloor.There was no mirror in the bathroom though clearly there was one in there before. TV remote control batteries was dead

Clean but disappointing. Hard to find as a visitor to the area. I would need an incentive to return. Without a coffee/tea bar I had to go out for tea.

the resort has 3 elevators only one worked and it took forever, i was in room 804 the door didn’t lock, the sheets was dirty, and the tissue roll was a pipe, also the tv remote didn’t work its was broken.

I am deeply disappointed both in the hotel which was overbooked. I arrived at almost midnight after a day travel. There was no real apology, and I even pre-checked in. Shameless approach by hotel and a very poor note on booking.com and the hotel for letting this happen. Apparently hotels can be overbooked which by itself seem to be ridiculous. Than if it happens, you would expect proactive support from both entities. Apparently the receptionist was dealing with several overbookings at the same time so great caution and awaiting recompensation of made expenses.

I thought this was a Wyndham hotel, it may carry the name, but none of the amenities 1 no toilet paper, call them for toilet paper one and a half hours to get a roll of toilet paper 2 checked in TV was not working, called front desk. Somebody came three hours later. 3 next morning Tv stopped working again, called. We were going out for the whole day came back in the evening. Nothing had been done. 4 called again finally somebody came three hours later again or roughly 2 1/2 hours, Tv starts working 5 next morning Tv on the blink again 6 no restaurant at the hotel, they claimed a restaurant, but they only have one shelf of items that can be purchased of the shelf 7 three elevators, only one works in the lobby to all the rooms!! huge delays!! front desk person said this has been going on for four months, no end insight 8 asked for towels, housekeeping, staff speaks only creole, hard to communicate one of them did promised and broken English they would get some more towels till the next day no more towels!! 9 they call themselves, Chateau Mark, Golf Resort, but the Golf is non-functional and has not been functional for a long period and they do not know when it will become active again This is a nightmare I am so sorry I stayed here
