"Uncleaned on arrival"

Pet hairs, live and dead flies everywhere. Surfaces had clearly not been dusted in weeks. Microwave and cutlery but no sink to use except the bathroom. Toilet brush had remnants from previous guests. Hot water was intermittent. I went a day unable to shower. The bed was comfy and location peaceful but totally devoid of wildlife

Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It stank and the noise of the macerator and vent was horribly noisy. Paymán expected me to stay let a handyman try and fixit.he was due to get to me in an hour. I had arrived at 5:40 at 6:50they suggested they send a handyman. I was staying for one night. Not something I was prepared to do. The attitude of Paymán was despicable. They have still only issued a partial refund. Good luck if you have to deal with them. Hotel.com are unable to help unless Paymán agree? They have clearly had issues in the past with previous guests. Ask to see the terms and conditions before you part with money. They take a hefty deposit before you get a key.

"Excellent"

Property inside was very nice, warm and cost. Well equipped kitchen. There were a lot of animal hairs on the carpets and furniture and a smell similar to perm lotion in the bathroom. Outside was a building site. Lots of work and noise, that I wasn’t notified about. Check in was poor. The key safe combination was sent to me whilst I was en route to the property and I couldn’t get the information from my phone when I arrived. There is a £150 caution required, which is cashed by the owners and returned at a later date to the guest. This I was unaware about and this, once again, was requested at the last minute. Other potential guests should be made aware of this. I enjoyed my stay, but wouldn’t stay again and I await my prompt return of the caution.
