GBThankyou for the best Christmas break ever,loved everything about the property,I wished I could stay there forever. Thankyou Bruce and family for the Christmas present left for us, and the tray of goodies the bacon was delicious. The cottage is lovely and the location is beautiful. Far to much going on inside cottage and quite untidy outside, thought we’d gone into a scrapyard on first arrival but owner is a collector.

Too cluttered, nowhere for any of your items or to hang up your luggage. It was a little like staying in a room at Beamish museum; full of stuff. It made it annoying and for us wasn't a relaxing environment - looking for your keys/phone/charger...nightmare. kitchen was Ill equipped with only 2 small mugs available and a mishmash of other random crockery and utensils.
Excellent host. Provided some bread cheese butter and was very helpful.
