Beautiful unit, well laid out and cheerful. Nice hot tub and gorgeous view of the mountains. Also appreciated the extremely well-stocked kitchen/dining area, the top-level appliances and the granite counter tops. Unfortunately the washing machine may be on its last legs as it was very noisy. Thanks.

The suite is super spacious and very modern. It gives enough privacy to each room, yet we could spend time together in a nice and, which is rare, aesthetically appealing environment - whether inside or on the long terrace around the entire unit. The decor was unusually tasteful and colour coordinated. Not too dark, not too light - just right. We found literally everything we needed (especially in the kitchen) in any hour of our stay. The king (!) beds were the most comfortable beds we slept in in years on our multiple trips. The washer and dryer, rare, again, is always a welcome bonus on road trips. The unit is close to everything you might need in the little town of Revelstoke - the cafes, restaurants, grocery stores etc. The parking in a garage adds that extra peace of mind overnight. The host clearly understands the hospitality business. A very pleasant stay overall.

There were three issues we had during our stay. Two were minor and the other one a bit bigger. 1. It took us about 20 minutes to figure out the entry codes. There were separate entry codes for each door, which wasn't specified in the instructions. We would have welcomed the opportunity to get the information right away instead of figuring things out by multiple trials and errors right after a very long drive. I made a phone call to the number on the instructions but there was only an automated message telling me that 'the office is now closed'. I left a message but nobody got back to me for two days to send even a short note "I see you figured things out. Sorry for the inconvenience." 2. The hallways weren't marked at all. There were no signs, no arrows pointing toward the elevator. Again, not a rocket science. We knew where to turn on the second or third time. I would have been a nice touch to be mindful about tired travelers' minds and help them a bit once they arrived. 3. This one was a major thing during the night. I am not a light sleeper by any stretch of imagination but I woke up several times due to some "technical noises" I couldn't identify at night. I sounded like a washing machine in the next door apartment but later on we fathomed that it was most likely the air conditioning unit on the roof right above our bedroom. It turned on and off throughout the night loudly enough to wake me up. Once I was awake, there was additional little but comparably disturbing rhythmic noise coming from the en suite bathroom. After the careful analysis I realized that it was a clicking sound the bathroom sliding door lock made when the train was passing by. Funnily enough, I didn't hear the trains at all but the tiny piece of metal 8 feet from my head woke me up. Generally, I don't consider sliding doors an advantage of any sort in separating the bedroom & the bathroom.
