Gorgeous comfortable Apartment on the High Street

Lovely little apartment. The ice cream and freshly fried doughnut shop by the front door is a terrible idea, dangerously addictive! TV reception was spotty, but a HDMI cable is provided, which is great!

Got a massive splinter from the kitchen floor, but that's kinda on me because I forgot to pack my slippers!

Loved the location to where we needed to be, the beds were comfy. Easily accessible. Host was easy to contact and made things clear.

Pillows were hard, remote batteries were too low. Not many basic necessities like sugar. Shower needs unblocking.

The room was large, the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. There are good appliances, useful fridge freezer and teapot and cafetiere great additions. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Very convenient for the shops and railway station.

Small niggle - only one 'key' for the doors, not convenient when we did different things during the day. Not enough tea towels in the kitchen. The shower room/toilet rather narrow. The rug moves every time you walk on it and can be a trip hazard. Be aware that because the apartment is in the centre of town it can be noisy both late at night (revellers) and early in the morning (delivery and refuse trucks).

Great location with lots of shops and pubs nearby, train station within 3 min, responsive host, nice and bright apartment with fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. I'll be back.

Some traffic noise in the early hours in the morning but that's not the host's fault.

Perfectly located and had everything I needed. I left some belongings at the property by mistake and the owner was extremely helpful.
