M11 The Artsy Suite 2BR Prime Location DT

The apartment was located on a lively street within walking distance of many restaurants and amenities. It was also a short distance either by public transportation or on foot or bike to attractions such as the Old Quarter, the port, Mt. Royal etc.

The AC unit was located inside one bedroom. Once that room door was closed, the rest of the apartment had no access to cool air. Two standing fans were provided, but they didn’t help the 2nd bedroom too much during the night. Also, since we came from the US, our cell phone data didn’t immediately work, and the WiFi information was only provided through the check-in platform on the app that is only sent to you shortly before check-in time. I would ask the property manager to post this information somewhere inside the apartment. I had to call the number that was provided for emergency use only where I was reprimanded for using this number and not the platform to text….which, again, I could not access without data. Also, there is no elevator in this building.

The property was in a really great location and was great for accessing key destinations during our trip.

Our biggest issue was the failing plumbing in the apartment. This seemed to be a reoccurring issue for the space since there was a plunger next to the toilet and signage for what could be flushed, which we respected. It was a very unpleasant experience to fear flushing the toilet for an apartment we paid a premium to stay at. Additionally the bathroom in particular did not feel very clean. There was hair steamed onto the walls from previous occupants and light switches/high-touch items could have used a wipe down.

The apartment is really well located and well equipped with a lot of space

If I have to find something negative I would say no elevator.

I wish I knew before hand more about parking. The host recommended a few parking apps but they were all a waste of time. There is an outdoor lot five minutes away. We paid $11 for overnight parking.

Place was clean and nice location but would have been helpful to be able to contact host. Did not get any response to questions asked beforehand and after long drive and walk could not get code and was given wrong entry code. Raining and was miserable standing outside. Inside was beautiful but communication should have been easier. Street was closed and knowing this would have been great.

Lack of communication and hard to plan where to park. It was good mostly.
