Casa da Avo by Atlantic Holiday

The apartment is newly refurbished, very clean with a lot of natural light. The view out of the balcony is amazing. We enjoyed our time doing bbq in the little garden, everything was well comfortably set.

However there were some negative moments in our stay worth mentioning: - 1 bathroom for 5 ppl apartment might be not enough; - Boiler was not very powerful as only 2 ppl could take a shower, the rest would have to wait for an hour or more for water to heat; - jacuzzi was not cleaned, the water was left after previous tenants and had some body hair in it, which stopped us from using it.

The apartment was sparklingly clean, with everything brand new. It was really well equipped - we especially appreciated the washing machine and the modern kitchen appliances! Perfect for self-catering. The bathroom spacious and modern, and the bed comfortable, and the balcony was a great spot to have a meal or read a book. The host was very helpful, too.

Canical was underwhelming as a town - much more industrial than we expected, and rather run-down. However, it's a convenient place for exploring the peninsular, with its dramatic cliffs and lovely swimming spots, so still very much worth visiting.
