Anchor Inn Motel

An upgraded motel about a 5–8 minute walk from the beach. Everything is contactless and digital—there doesn’t appear to be a front office, and we never saw any staff. The room was comfortable and had all the essentials, though the floor was sandy when we arrived and the walls are on the thinner side. Ideal for a short stay or a quick beach getaway.

Very clean and comfortable. The housekeepers really do a thorough job. I like how they put larger trash cans & a broom to use inside the rooms. The linens & towels smell nicely laundered & they have cute coastal decor in the rooms. They text you with a room code before you get there so it's contactless. The communication was very good. Easy walk to the beach!

The pool was closed when we went but they communicated that ahead of time to us. It looked ready to go & nice to use on their end but they said they were at the mercy of an inspection sign off before use. Seemed like a temporary issue but if having an outdoor pool is important to you maybe call ahead to ask.

I liked how easy the check in process was. The location was great since it's very close to the beach and restaurants we like. Liked that it's dog friendly for a very reasonable pet fee.

I wish there's a hair dryer in the room. The first time we stayed last year I was surprised there wasn't one and had to go to bed with wet hair, but this time I just brought my own.

nice little no frills hotel/motel . very clean and friendly staff. walkable to many restaurants, shops. beach is a good walk but very clean and beautiful beach. If looking for luxury and amenities this would not be the motel but for a place to hang for a couple days its perfect. the manager was very nice and even gave complementary late check out which was very nice. would stay again. very simple but clean and friendly.

Fresh remodel. Ease of checking in and out.

While the intention was good, the fragrance of the linens was overpowering.
