Central, facile d’accès,propre et calme

Awesome place, historic house, creative interior with more then average furniture. Bathroom on every 2-3 rooms. Only 2-3 rooms per floor. From top floor - nice look to neighbourhood.

Weak sound isolation - can hear next room talks and walking till room, because wooden house.. Small shower cabin, low water pressure and slow hairdryer.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They speak good English and understood our need. The location is close to the bus to and from the airport. Just 7 min away and this is better than being on the water front or near the Porto cathedral or bridge. Much Less crowded. The door to the hostel is next to a cute restaurant that sells francesinha sandwiches. This upper hill area attract locals and tourists both. Also the pharmarcy and cafe and bakeries, a little store open late all very convenient. Interesting downhill alleys. Memorable, unique location.

We wouldn't need to post our passport ID on sns as they requested for early check-in from our previous experiences with others. Thankfully the staff waited for us and didn't have to let them copy or take pictures of our IDs. We briefly struggled to find the door and walked down further away as their entrance door was inconspicuous. The room would need designated cloth hangers and a rack, not ropes with 4 hangers. For 2 guests, We would need 2 chairs but only 1. The current setting is for overnight stay. The shared bathroom was not inconvenient shared with 1 or 2 other room guests. But the paper towel dispenser is too wasteful. I suggest a small hand towel provided in each room that we could bring to the bathroom each time. The ground level corridor to the reception has some lingering mold smell on a dry day. Wiping down the surface with disinfectant would help. 7am street cleaning could be quite noisy but that is the charm of the district, too. Our stay was more pleasant than any of these little things. I just hope the owner sees the details for improvement.

Gute Lage in Porto. Genau auf dem Camino. Hatten ein tollen Blick auf der Kathedrale, allerdings von hinten,aber schön. Der Balkon fanden wir super klein und fein.

Would have liked some bodywash/ shampoo in the shared bathroom shower
