Francesco was an amazing host!!!!

What a beautiful place to stay. From the moment we arrived Francesco gave us a beautiful warm welcome. His service was outstanding! He gave us a welcome gift of local pastries that were so delicious. We stayed there three days and wished we could stay longer. Everything he suggested to eat was outstanding! He suggested places to see that were amazing. We want to go and stay there again!

The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning and the ceiling fan was very convenient the Acquablu suites were close to everything but the best part of it was Francesco, he was absolutely AMAZING. He rescued us from the train station since we couldn’t find a taxi. He helped with reservations for a private driver as well as for taxis. He helped us with reservations for a ferry and he also, recommend a wonderful restaurant, because of Acquablu Suites and Francesco we had a marvelous time in Salerno. THANK YOU FRANCESCO!!

I stayed at Acquablu for 6 nights and it was such a beautiful experience! We had for ourselves a beautiful bedroom, a big bathroom and we shared the living room with the other guests but most of the time it was free and I could enjoy a book and a coffee there as well. Our guest, Francesco, was very polite and kind. He provided for us a clean place, tea & coffee, traditional Italian pastry, fresh fruits and champagne at the end of the journey. He also offered us tips on where to eat and what festivals were going on in Salerno during that time. The place has a big dressing, air conditioning and a fan. The breakfast was at a coffee shop across the street and consisted of a coffee/cappucino and a very tasty croissant filled with pistacchio/nocciola/chocolate/almond etc. Many thanks to Francesco for making our experience belissima! :)

We were blown away by the incredible level of hospitality from Francesco during our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional. From recommending a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast (which was the best day ever), to booking us a taxi when we left, and even sending us lots of recommendations around the city. He also provided a walking tour (self guided) which we took that highlighted the beauty of Salerno, which we found great. You have to try to lemon sorbet when in Salerno, which was an awesome treat. The place itself was exceptionally clean, air conditioning was cold and it was a relaxing stay. Francesco has an eye for small details and left us little gifts each day from local pasties, to watermelon, to Prosecco. We felt like royalty! He was there to greet us when we arrived and even carried one of our suitcases (very heavy) up the stairs. Thanks again Francesco, we will definitely be back! We recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Salerno and/or the Amalfi Coast.

I stayed at Acquablu with a friend for three nights in mid-August. The location is convenient for getting to the port, waterfront, shops, restaurants etc. Check-in and check-out were both straightforward and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable (the air conditioning was especially appreciated given the time of year!), with a great view. The review would be incomplete without mentioning the kindness of the host, Francesco. Francesco was very welcoming and really made us feel at home. He provided a lot of great recommendations for Salerno and the surrounding region, including the nearby town of Vietri-sul-Mare and a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. On top of that, we were even greeted on arrival with delicious home-made sweets made by his wife! The location and amenities at Acquablu were already great, but the hosts took it to another level. The real rating should be 11/10. Grazie mille!

This property checked ALL the boxes! and MORE! Host was so delicate with every detail during our stay. Place was safe, clean and historic building gives you the true Italian feeling as you walk in! Would recommend this place for sure! Thank you, Francesco!

I would highly recommend staying at Acquablu! We stayed for 10 nights and the location was great - within short walking distance of the Old Town and Molo Manfredi port so perfect if you want to visit other parts of the Amalfi coast by ferry (which I highly recommend). The apartment itself is beautiful with a very authentic feel and plenty of space. The host Francesco was very welcoming and made sure to look after us during our stay, leaving treats for us and providing great recommendations for day trips. On the first day Francesco left us some lovely biscuits that his wife had made and they were absolutely delicious - we have not stopped raving about them since we got home! A well deserved 5 star rating and we can’t wait to come back!

This bedroom/bathroom suite was great with common space that we never had time to use. The problem was the 52 steps to get up to it once we got into the building. None of the other reviews mentioned that fact. Since we're 77 and 69, we would have probably thought twice about renting there. Everything else was above and beyond with the owner of the suite dropping off a couple food surprises as added luxuries. There were attractions and restaurants within walking distance of 15-30 minutes. Salerno is very hilly, so there is going to be a hill to walk down and back up to get anywhere.
