We could come back to Capri just to stay at Mariateresa's La Bella Anacapri. We stayed in Tritone, which has a loft with a double bed and a single bed, which was perfect for my husband and me and our nine year old child. The place looked nice in photos, but in person it was even better. High quality appliances, fixtures, and decor, and a sweet full efficient kitchen with a gas stove and fridge. The location can't be beat - it's just 50 feet behind the main street of Anacapri. But the best part is Mariateresa herself, who makes her own limoncello and baked goods and welcomes you with a bottle and homemade Capri cake and a cold bottle of prosecco. She is also a wonderful guide to her native Capri, you can tell she is very proud of her home and wants to share the best of it. She gave us personalized itineraries of what to do each day, recommended the best beaches (Faro and Marina Piccola!), and also helped us get reservations at the best restaurants. She even did our laundry and hung it out to dry for us and wouldn't accept a tip. It was like staying with a good friend who is also an exceptional host. If you're lucky enough to find availability here, I would reserve right away. La Bella Annacapri is a gem!

Wonderful host. The room was very clean and quirky. Little extras left in the room were a lovely touch and we were able to access Netflix on the TV.
