-clean and spacious room (tasteful decorated and equipped) -friendly owner -nice breakfast -parking (courtyard) -good location for bicycle trips around Venice lagoon (which was the main purpose of our visit) -friendly dog

-towel and shampoo hangers/holders in bathroom (function over form!)
