Het restaurant was gesloten. Dit had men wel moeten vermelden op Booking.com. Ontbijt wel mogelijk a la carte wat zeer duur was

Excelente! Um dos melhores alojamentos em que fiquei ao longo de 46 etapas que realizei desde que comecei o caminho francês de Santiago de Compostela. O atendimento dos camareiros, em especial a Ana, está pronto para ajudar

The property has been restored beautifully. The rooms were a touch of luxury for the Camino. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast menu was good and they had gluten free and vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly. The 20 minute walk along the river to the mouth of the estuary is worthwhile, to see lovely views of the beach on the other side of the river.

Stopped for lunch here 2 years ago when a friend and I walked straight through from Finnisterre to Muxia. This time I wanted to split the walk into 2 days with my husband to have more time. Loved this decision. Chose to stay here overnight and it was perfect. The food and drinks at lunch were great and I was so happy to see our room. It was ideal! Roomy, a fabulous view, clean, comfortable and convenient! The beds were cozy and we had a great sleep. They recommend the bar at the beach. A walk to it but “heaven” when we arrived. Perfect way to spend the evening. Really appreciated the suggestion. Loved our stay at Lires.ca. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here on a return visit. Thank you!

"Exceptional! A destination in itself."

Every little detail is considered. This is the most beautiful setting and the hosts have complemented that with a gorgeous hotel with attention to detail for your comfort. The food is excellent! We had lunch and it was exceptional. The hosts and staff are pleasant and attentive. This was a ‘treat’ on the Camino after many Albergue stays… yet for the quality this was not expensive. We highly recommend stopping in Lires just to enjoy this hospitality.
