Piña Colina Resort

Had a problem with the door lock they sorted it straight away. Room was large and spacious with a little kit for each person, toothbrush that sort of thing. The towels were clean and the rooms were. We used the restaurant and the food was good. Showers were hot and a decent size and water pressure.

First, we would like to say thank you for the assistance of Miss Darlene for helping us to set up the room decor and to buy cake & flowers for my Mama and Papa to celebrate their 43rd wedding anniversary. We really appreciate the effort. Thanks Miss Darlene and your team! Second, we like the location of the resort. Easy to locate and near to picnic grove. Lastly, we like the ambiance of the resort. The serenity of the place as it was really quiet and good for relaxation.

We have 2 things that we didn't like during our stay; First, our room was not that clean especially in the washroom which we found some dirt (pee) on top of the bowl. And lastly, we really disappoint in the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The swimming was really nice for photo or video but we found out it was really dirty and too way cold for the weather of Tagaytay. They should make it little bit warm as the weather or temperature is like 15 degrees feel. The jacuzzi was amazing for how it look like, but when you go deep into it. All the dirt was pump up and you can't stay to even sit on it. They should do maintenance of the jacuzzi and make the temperature for little bit warm (as jacuzzi should be warm to relax). We cancel our plan to stay only in the hotel on the next day and enjoy the facilities especially the pool & jacuzzi but since it was not maintained we decided to take 2 hour City Tour which we enjoyed as well. Looking forward for the management to take a look on the above for the convenience of the customers and reputation of the resort.

It's tucked in a quiet area of Silang, far enough from the sounds of Tagaytay proper but close enough to the must visit places in Tagaytay.

If they could work on having a covered carport for visitors because summer heat could get pretty intense and the guests' cars are exposed to heat and occasional rains.

The location is easy to find and the staff is very accommodating.

Wi-fi could be slow at times. I didn't like how the curtains are just almost the same size as the windows. If you move the curtains a little bit and don't notice, the room is visible from the outside.

Breakfast is ok. They have this buzz light to press on the tissue box to call the waiter's attention. Staff were so nice. Room has NETFLIX TV with a strong internet connection. LOCATION is bad. Far from the convenience store. But near the fruit stand. If you don't have a car, you will experience a long walk going to the highway. Not accessible for public transport.

I requested for a KING SIZE BED, but what they did, they put the 2 single bed together. We are couple and celebrating Valentine's Day, imagine the bed that keeps on falling apart in the middle. I complained to the staff and they said that's how they do it to have a KING SIZE BED. We suffered from insect bites, ants, and mosquitoes are also partying in the room. I wanted to request for an insect spray but my husband said, we will suffer from the scent of insect spray all night. They have a small pool, underneath the reception area. I don't think people can swim in there. We ordered food in the restaurant and requested if they can bring it to our room. But they said there is 15% ROOM SERVICE CHARGE. Wow, for a less than a minute walk. Other hotels are not charging a little favor from the guest. Instead of waiting for almost half an hour in the cafeteria. The water in the sink runs so slow that you could not even brush your teeth or wash your face.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival by the staff at Pina Colina Resort. The property is located outside of the main area of Tagaytay, which gives a special warmth and charm. The rooms are well supplied with amenities as well sufficient WIFI bandwidth. The restaurant on site, Garden Cafe provides complimentary breakfast and a delicious dinner menu. We highly recommend Pina Colina for those who enjoy a lovely and hospitable experience in Tagaytay!
