Anajawan Island Beachfront Resort

We loved our four nights on Anajawan Island. It was peaceful, simple and full of magical moments, with no crowds, no tourist stress and a beautiful beach shared with local life. Dave and his family were wonderful hosts. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and Dave brought plenty of humor, stories and music to the stay. His son Dylan was a perfect playmate and guide for our children, who spent their days exploring, playing and enjoying island life. Some nights were warm, but slow days and hammocks made up for it. Thank you for a truly special experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting something authentic and different. We would love to come back one day

David, Joanne, Chloe and Dylan were great hosts. Simple, relaxed, friendly and the perfect place to just chill out. The hammocks overlooking the beach were a favourite place to laze the day away.

We had the most amazing stay here it was simply relaxing fun & beautiful. Dave & Joannie made us feel so welcomed like family we loved Joannie’s cooking the kids enjoyed exploring the island and we didn’t want to leave ever! We will be back and I highly recommend visiting this gorgeous piece of paradise Thank you so much for everything guys

Perfect location to relax, only resort on the whole island, complete serenity, no tourists, hosts are great, food is great, everything here is great, great snorkeling + surf spots only to yourself!

Cotton bed sheets/blankets would have been more comfortable instead of the polyester ones but was only a very small inconvenience

Para ser honesto, lo mejor es la atención y gentileza del propietario y su familia. Es muy buena gente, atento y vacilón, pero como no tengas un buen nivel de inglés no vas a entender una mierda porque es australiano y es un coñazo entenderlo. La comida la hace la mujer o la hija, o quien esté por ahí en ese momento, y está bastante bien. Es simple, pero es casera y te da para pasar los días bien. Evidentemente la ubicación es un pequeño paraíso, está al lado de un pequeño pueblo pero ni te enteras.

Sinceramente, el alojamiento en sí es simplemente una habitación en la que pasar las noches. Todo es muy muy viejo, no estaba limpio, no hay agua caliente y sale con poquísima presión, el ventilador es del tamaño de la hélice de una lancha, en las mosquiteras hay especies de bichos momificados desde el Jurásico y las puertas no cierran bien, lo que conlleva a que dentro haya una cantidad considerable de seres vivos que no están pagando por quedarse en el alojamiento. El techo es artesanal y se cae a trozos, hay nidos de pájaros, ratones, arañas del tamaño de cangrejos.. Fui para descansar del viaje y desconectar de la sociedad y estuve toda mi estancia casi sin dormir por el calor y los ruidos de todos los seres que habitan tanto dentro como fuera de la habitación.
