Wanderlust Bed and Breakfast Puerto Princesa

Amazing value for money hotel. They had the best staff and a great owner. They accomodated all my requests and even let me take a shower at the end of the day that I left. The owner also offered to drop me off at the airport when I left. The food is also amazing with very nice pricing for amazing dishes from homemade recipes. Love the place, would definitely go again.

Area wasn’t very well lit, bathroom wasn’t very clean and shower didn’t have much power

The staff go above and beyond, very polite and welcoming. Amazing food- must try the yellow fish curry! Comfy beds, AC worked well. Water refill on each floor. Laundry services just across the road- these were delivered back to our room the same evening.

The location is decent, and the room is acceptable for its price. However, the TV was not working, and we were only informed about this upon arrival, leaving us with no option to address it. For a late lunch, I ordered Lumpiang Shanghai and Pork Humba. Unfortunately, the Pork Humba was extremely salty to the point that it was inedible. In the evening, I placed an order for a pepperoni pizza and a Sprite Zero at around 7:12 PM, requesting room delivery. After waiting for about an hour, a staff member came to my room asking me to repeat my order, as it had been forgotten. I confirmed the order, and he mentioned he would first check if the pizza was still available. A few minutes later, he returned to inform me that the pizza was no longer available. After waiting for approximately an hour and a half, it was very disappointing to be told that my order could not be fulfilled, and as a result, I ended up not having dinner at all. Overall, while the room itself is reasonably priced, the service particularly communication and order handling needs significant improvement.

The staff went out of their way to assist me and ensure I have the best stay. They welcomed me with a cold juice, offered a larger room because of my height (which is above Philippino average and not suited for their budget room), offered to hold on to my luggage whilst I was on a 4 day tour and even negotiated with the driver for me to pay the “local price” (which was so much less than what I’m usually charged) for my tricycle when I left. This was way beyond what I expected and it didn’t go unnoticed, thank you!

Everything. Super close to the airport with many restaurants and stores close by. The breakfast was delicious and the host is super helpful. She organised the pick up for our shuttle to El Nido and helped us store our luggage. Will definitely be back
