Terrazza dei Colori alla Kalsa by Wonderful Italy

Not sure really, there are lots of negatives !! The location of the property is very grim - extremely dirty all around, though on the outskirts of the old town. A lots of restaurants were within walking distance.

The rubbish all around the local area, extremely disappointing. I would not recommend anyone to visit Palermo, or this apartment. The staircase to the terrace - yes we knew there was one, but it was more than we expected !! I have videos of the spiral staircase leading to the second bedroom and the terrace, but system does not allow video upload - oops !!! Three flights up to the apartment, with some of the step risers at a different depth than the others - we are fit, but could be deemed dangerous. Airconditioning didn't work in the livingroom. Shower didnt work properly. Only one wine glasses. Second bedroom couldn't be classed as a bedroom, certainly not for adults and tall people couldn't stand up in there and access was up the spiral staircase. We asked for support from Wonderful Italy; their plumber arrived when my husband as in the shower and he wouldn't wait a few minutes. He said he would come back in 40 minutes, but didn't. Wonderful Italy didn't assist with these problems. And that was the end of any support apart from a response to a telephone call, which was to re-iterate the WhatsApp message sent. Our flight was late arriving and as part of the booking of the apartment, there was a free car transfer from the airport to the apartment and GUESS WHAT, the car broke down on the way to the airport and we had to wait 45 minutes for another car to come for us. Don't bother with this FREE addition - book your own and pay !!

Wifi didn’t work. More than one set of keys would be helpful. Everything else was perfect.

Perfecte locatie, op wandelafstand van het centrum. Ruim appartement met groot prive dakterras. In de keuken ontbreekt niets. Ruime badkamer en één ruime slaapkamer.

Tweede slaapkamer is zeer klein en kan je niet goed rechtstaan. Waterdruk is zeer laag. Op bovenste verdieping, dus veel trappen.

Die große Terrasse mit Hafen- und Meerblick sowie die gute Ausstattung der Küche (fehlt nur der Toaster)

Die Energieversorgung (Heizung/Warmwasser) ist leider wiederholt ausgefallen - wurde nach Reklamation durch Techniker jeweils umgehend repariert

There is a lot of space in the apartment. All equipment is ready to use. Air conditioning worked well. Cafes with good breakfast options just around the corner. Great view on the mountains around the city from the terrace.

Many things that broke since the previous owner sold the apartment were not repaired. Like a broken sliding door - it was simply taken out. Or an umbrella on the roof - left broken. The roof itself is not very usable, as there is no hiding from the sun and extreme heat. I only used it when it was dark. There were noises from other apartments. One day, there was an open air disco on the street below until 3 a.m. with music so extremely loud that it was like someone doing a party in my apartment. And someone unknown was ringing my door that night. Streets around are ugly, and the smell of dog feces is disturbing. Wi-Fi transfer was miserable, it was hard to do most basic things with it.
