The Good: - Prime Location: The apartment is situated close to the port, making it easy to get around. - Convenient Amenities: Having a dedicated parking space in this area is a massive plus. The elevator was also greatly appreciated since the unit is located on the fourth floor. - Linens: The sheets and towels provided were professionally laundered. - Proximity to Shopping: There is a small grocery store and bakery nearby for quick needs, although overpriced (€7 for a baguette). A larger supermarket, Gulliver's, with better pricing, is available, though if not driving, it requires a 10-minute walk uphill with long stairs.

The Bad: - Misleading Photos & Missing Basics: The property images showed welcoming touches like a bowl of fruit, cookies, and bottles of water, none of which were provided. The daybed was completely stripped rather than covered as pictured. - Unstocked Essentials: The container for laundry detergent packets was entirely empty, and there was no dish towel provided. The kitchen lacked basic condiments like salt, pepper, and oil. - Cleanliness Issues: The bathroom floor was noticeably dirty, to the point where walking around in socks or bare feet was uncomfortable. - Outdated & Broken Fixtures: The wardrobe units are very old/dated, making the drawers very difficult to open and close. The terrace lacks a table and shade, which significantly limits its usefulness. The toilet seat is broken. The bathroom faucet is stiff to operate. The dishwasher rack on the bottom was missing wheels, making it difficult to load and unload the dishes. - Air conditioning/Heating barely worked - Challenging Parking Access: While having parking is great, operating the gate requires getting out of the car to manually use a key on a busy street with no parking outside the gate, which can be stressful. The Kitchen & Appliances - Stove and Oven Issues: The stove is outdated and lacks an electronic ignition. Burners have to be lit manually with a lighter, which resulted in burned fingers. Furthermore, the burners frequently went out and required re-lighting. Due to a lack of instructions on how to ignite the oven, it went unused. Most of the kitchenware is located in the living room cabinet requiring the need to walk back & forth to retrieve dishes, glasses, pots/pans, etc. - Broken Cooker Hood: The fan and light on the extractor hood were completely non-functional. Noise Note - Early Morning Construction: Daily construction work was taking place right outside the apartment door.

The apartment is right in the centre of Santa Margherita Ligure and close to all its amenities. The car parking space that comes with the apartment is a crucial facility as it's impossible to find a free car parking space in town

The kitchen is small and it would be a challenge to cook a meal.
