My wife and our two friends stayed at this property on a whim for two days/nights, as our previous Birmingham house cancelled last minute. The property didn't have any reviews on any sites at the time we booked it. We visited the town for the first time to attend the Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival in Moseley Park. The house is conveniently right next to a bus stop, a convenience store, a pub, and Costa coffee, so all of that was nice to have. The gated property made us feel safe and the key was in a convenient place. The house is definitely spacious, as advertised, and it was nice to have space for all four of us. Now for the things we didn't find pleasing. There are three bathrooms (which is great!) but the downstairs one didn't have any toilet paper. There was also no extra toilet paper stocked anywhere. I called the property number and was told the house should only have the bare minimum necessities, but I said that two rolls of paper in a three-bedroom house isn't necessarily the minimum. They said they'd have someone come out to supply some, but it never happened. The non-bedroom upstairs shower's drain was so clogged that you'd immediately be ankle deep in gross water, so that was unpleasant. There is also no hot water. The shower got to lukewarm temperature, at best, and that was after letting it run for three minutes. Not a fun thing to discover after a long day of sweating and dancing at a music festival. Downstairs ceiling fan didn't work. Upstairs very warm.
