Host Stay Castle View

We loved the whole experience from start to finish, shame we weren't staying longer. The property was in a great location close to the resort of Seahouses with beautiful views of the sea and the Farne Islands! It was very well designed and appointed and spotlessly clean with nice little touches such as milk sachets in the fridge if needed for that first welcome drink. The beds were comfy, and it was so quiet, except for the wonderful sound of waves breaking on the beach. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxury home from home getaway!

Spacious bedrooms and living area. Gorgeous views.

The shower room was very small and there was an unfortunate smell emanating from the shower. This smell permeated the bedrooms and hallway and was most off-putting. Also, two rolls of toilet paper for three people is not enough for five days.

The views, space, facilities land location to the beach.

Storage space would have been useful for bikes.

There was a terrible stench in the tiny bathroom between the bedrooms. It was like sleeping in a latrine. We complained and have been given nothing but a run around.

Location, comfort and the parking

The only issue was the bathroom smells damp couldn't see how the extractor fan worked and could do with the shower trough bleaching and renew sealant. Previous reviews have mentioned this.

Bathroom was very small for two bedrooms with inconvenient toilet in the small bathroom and unfortunately mould in the shower! Dining table and chairs could be better!
