"Not impressed, only stay here if you are desperate."

The bed was comfortable. Next door neighbour good enough to warn us about the area. Close to the shops and ST James' Hospital.

Very expensive for the location and condition. The place was dirty. We had to wash up the crockery and cutlery that we were going to use. The tea towel was stained and smelly and the oven and grill were disgusting. the kitchen floor was covered in muck. The oven didn't work when we arrived, but a maintenance man came around and replaced the element and then sprayed the fan with WD40, which then smelt every time we wanted to cook anything as well as the high pitched squeal from the fan. The extractor didn't work, the fridge freezer was wet on top, frosted up and dirty, and could do with being replaced. Things like colander, measuring jug, sharp knife, chopping board etc.. were not supplied. The bathroom floor had blood on it. The tumble drier was in the basement, sited on a work bench and not vented externally. The area was labelled as vibrant, the front doors in the street have steel shutters on and the neighbours said to park the car as close as possible to the property and not to go out at night. The parking is for permit holders only, but we had to take the risk of being caught to protect our car. The recycle bin had garden waste in, so probably contaminated the whole collection. We also had to pay £20 for cleaning, what a waste of time that was. This is either going straight in to there pockets, or the cleaner needs sacking and replaced with someone who knows how to clean. A damage deposit of £250 was also required which took over 4 weeks to get back? It would also be nice to have a welcome folder detailing when bin collections are, takeaway menus, which TV control to use (3 controls) contact phone numbers etc....
