Everything was poorly organized. The core issue remains: no service was provided. We were denied use of the accommodation due to the agent's complete failure to ensure the property was clean and prepared (unmade beds, no clean linen or towels). This lack of preparation was acknowledged by the agency manager themselves.

I am forwarding you the letter I sent to Booking.com and to which I have not received a response or refund: Dear Booking.com Resolution Team, I am writing to follow up on my previous formal complaint and your subsequent communication regarding my booking for Casa Tranquillo 1876 by Wonderful Italy (Confirmation number: /). I acknowledge receipt of the partial refund of €265 which you stated was agreed upon by the property manager. However, as clearly detailed in my initial email, this partial refund is entirely unacceptable. The property was never made available for use, forcing my group of six to seek alternative accommodation late on the evening of September 20, 2025. The Problem The core issue remains: no service was provided. We were denied use of the accommodation due to the agent's complete failure to ensure the property was clean and prepared (unmade beds, no clean linen or towels). This lack of preparation was acknowledged by the agency manager themselves. Your provided partial refund only covers the cleaning fee. This means that you and the property agency are effectively keeping the remaining €368.56 as profit for a service that was never delivered. This constitutes an unjust enrichment on the part of the agency and a failure on Booking.com's part to enforce its own policies regarding unusable accommodation. Final Demand for Full Resolution I formally and unequivocally demand the immediate processing of the outstanding balance of €368.56, bringing my total refund to the full amount paid: €604.08. As stated previously, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and standard consumer protection laws, a consumer is entitled to a full refund when the booked service is entirely unavailable. Your platform, Booking.com, has a responsibility to ensure that the accommodation matches the reservation and is in a usable condition. Your obligation, therefore, is to ensure a full reimbursement.
