Selvática del Toro

Francisco was very attentive both prior to our arrival and helpful after we got there. Bernardo was also very nice. And somehow we got an upgrade to a larger2 bedroom apartment. Thank you! Bajos del Toro is tiny but still a cute town with a few cafes/restaurants and a market that had everything (food) that we needed. The apartment was also close to at least 2 waterfalls that you could walk to.

Could use some outdoor chairs for the patio to enjoy the nice rainforest adjoining the yard..

My recent stay at Selvatica in Bajos del Toro was incredible. Francisco, the host, made the experience exceptional by his warm welcome and flexibility with an early check-in. Selvatica's location, just minutes from the town center, provided the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, featuring nice sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. Nearby, a cute shop had goodies, water and other local stuff. Also, Francisco let me store my bag pack in the property after check-out because I was going to the waterfalls. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Selvatica as one of the best stays in Bajos del Toro. Thank you, Francisco, for creating such a memorable experience. Can't wait to return to this hidden paradise!

Have some kitchen stuff and a TV with good WiFi.

No one at reception when checked in, spend 30 minutes to find out the owner.(owner said send us check in instructions by text, but my USA phone number has no signal for whole day), so I will suggest to communicate with email instead of texting. Very poor quality of furniture of beds, and cannot completely closed one of the bedroom which I feel extremely cold during middle of night. No A/C in the room, which is very cold in December.

Very new property with big patio doors onto garden - so clean that I almost walked through them! Spacious apartment and close to Banos del Toro.

A kettle would be great as the small electric hob was very slow, also the microwave for heating water. Cold showers a challenge when it was bitterly cold and wet for our stay. Beware the only walk that was open for hiking was at Dinoland, which came as a surprise as there is a magnificent waterfall at the end of the walk when you've escaped the dinosaurs!

Very easy to talk with the owner, she was super helpful with everything (in Spanish!)

The hot shower didn't work and the wifi wasn't installed yet as it is a brand new house but we were advise in advance and agreed to it

The beds is not what tou can expect from a rental establishment.
