Royal Central Room

Camera grande, bagno grande. Pulizia eccellente. Massima disponibilità da parte dello staff. Posizione ottimale per visitare il centro di Bologna.

We needed to find a place for 1 night in Bologna that would be in a good distance from the train station (and its easy access to the airport) and city centre. This place is exactly that, a few minutes by public transport from the station and a few minutes by walk from the city centre. We came before our room was ready, but could keep our suitcases inside, which we appreciated greatly. We took a room that sleeps 4 and it had enough space. The bathroom, the towels and the bed sheets were very clean and overall feeling was great. The staff helped us later in the evening to successfully navigate a power cut fairly quickly.

I had trouble with finishing our online check-in. It took me 4 attempts, and finally, it worked one day later. During this process, I didn't get any response from the host even though I contacted them on WhatsApp and via Booking.com. It all went well, because I didn't try to do it last minute. The whole accomodation entrance is electricity based. It is great, because you don't need to wait for anyone to give you a key. However, in case of a power cut (or when you run out of phone battery), you are locked out. It didn't happen to us, because we were already in the room during the power cut, but we just got lucky that day. We could hear a person in the room next door plugging their charger in the electrical socket like it was in our room. And not only we could hear him talking on that phone, but we could also hear the person who he was talking to. I don't know if other rooms are better isolated than ours was. Due to the power cut, there was no hot water in the morning, and it didn't get fixed before we had to leave.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Das Personal vor Ort war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

La posizione e la semplicità di accesso, il bagno pulito.

Il frigorifero era privo di acqua nonostante mi fosse stato assicurato ed essendo arrivata a tarda ora quando l'ho scoperto mi sono dovuta rivestire per comprarla. La trapunta aveva un forte odore sgradevole quando l'ho presa dall'armadio per collocarla sul letto.
