Canavida Villas & Resort

The place was clean and well built. The road there is a bit rough if you are not used to the area but once you get to Canavida, it’s all worth it. The view is absolutly breathtaking. One of the best ocean views I have seen in a while. Also the owners Jess and John are amazing humans and wonderful hosts, they are on the premise so open to help with anything you need. We also travelled with our dog, and there was plenty of space for morning walks. It was really nice! Oh and you can see all kinds of birds like macaws and tucans on the property. Honestly a gem!

Amazing place, equipped with everything you need and comes with the best view possible of Uvita. Def a highlight of our trip. The owners were really accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. Thanks alot

Everything was nice, plus the spectacular view which can not be fully appreciated until you get there, we hope to return whenever we can, this place is great if you want to relax in a super peaceful environment. We loved grilling some food right in front of the sunset. It is better to arrive in a 4x4 or similar car.

The view, but you can’t see it in the rainy season. The staff is very responsive and friendly.

The road! It takes 15-20 minutes to go up and there’s almost no street light. No restaurants or supermarkets around either. I wouldn’t recommend for the rainy reason!

Canavida es un paraíso, un lugar donde se respira bosque y paz, y está a pocos minutos (en automóvil) de las bellas playas del Pacífico Central (en especial Uvita, Ballena, Piñuelas, Ventanas. Tiene supermercados, tiendas, restaurantes y gasolinera cerca. Ya es la segunda vez que les visitamos en familia, y nos ha encantado! Los anfitriones son sumamente atentos y amables, y siempre están pendientes de que los huéspedes estemos cómodos y felices. Las cabinas son preciosas, bien equipadas, y super limpias. Un 10 de 10!!! Nos encanta, y esperamos regresar! :)

Un único punto en Casa Rana (sería buenísimo contar con un tendedero plegable para tender ropa mojada). La vez pasada estuvimos en cabina Lizardo y sí fue fácil tender ropa para secarse. :) El resto: PERFECTO así como está! :)
