Clean, large comfortable rooms. Wildlife around property, proximity to the historical center.

The street that the bed and breakfast is on is in need of major repairs and is only one way, making the possibility of meeting a car midway a harrowing prospect. Also, breakfast was run-of-the-mill.

The hosts and the onner of the pousada ( Da Maisa ) one special person. Very kind and helpful I felt at home. She gives many tips to the guests The breakfast is very special with so many homemades foods A garden with beautiful plants and animals (birds ) and small monkeys Confortable bed. The public road to reach the hotel (but short way) needs repairs and it s very narrow on one place when we drive through it

Peacefull, very nice Staff, very clean, amaizing breakfast, naturę around, hot shower.

For first time cant belive how to drive there, But only for first glimps

We were very happy with our experience in Pousada da fonte. The place was nice and clean, the breakfast was delicious and super friendly and helpful staff! We'd definitely come back!

Everything was perfect, some of the loveliest hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Spoke great English and were super friendly with great advice too. They even extended breakfast for us! Could not recommend this place more for a great place to relax in nature, away from the centre of the town! But within easy walking distance. Also had good parking, but make sure you have an SUV.

Only minor thing was the shutters in the rooms have holes in so I think mosquito’s can get in your room which isn’t ideal and also no curtains.

I liked that it was very quiet and away from the city center. I liked the simplicity and rustic feel. Cafe de Manhã was good and satisfying. Fresh juice, excellent coffee, great fruits and savory foods. Maíza is very friendly and helpful.

The road leading to the inn could use some work.

300 metres from the bus stop at the end of a dirt road is a haven of tranquility. The only sound is crickets and birds and yet the town is an easy 10 minute walk. It's absolutely non-negotiable that you must go on a valley hike to the pools and waterfalls with Maisa. Her English is impeccable and her knowledge is exceptionally broad. The breakfast provided by Ita is extremely good. A home is made by the hosts and this pousada deserves every accolade. We loved it...

Our bedroom had a double bed that was only accessible from one side.... A bit petty perhaps! Other rooms are available!

This place is amazing! It's a little paradise you come home to after a day of hiking in the beautiful chapada Diamantina. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was awesome. Everyday you could count on bread, cheese, ham, fruits and then there would be some changing specials, e.g. the best homemade banana bread I have ever had! The host, Maiza was lovely, she helped me with everything I needed. I definitely recommend staying at Pousada da Fonte!
