The Hopestead Bed & Breakfast

Could not have dreamed up a better bed and breakfast to stay at! The history and the architecture of the b and b is absolutely beautiful! The owners Michael and Vanessa are the sweetest couple and made our stay absolutely flawless. Vanessa made us shrimp and grits for breakfast that was to die for and I am still dreaming of Michaels coffee blend he hand presses! This b and b sits on roughly 50 acres with horses, a mule, geese and the cutest dogs this side of Tennessee. We staid in the Magnolia Room and it was so large and spacious, but yet cozy and inviting. My husband and I wanted to pack the bed with us it was so comfortable! While we were downtown Lynchburg shopping before our Jack Daniel’s tour workers would ask where we were staying at and when we said Hopestead they would go on and on about how sweet Michael and Vanessa were and how much we would enjoy them. They have definitely made an impact on the local community! Would highly recommend! We can not wait to go back!!

This place is amazing. Michael and Vanessa are even more amazing. My wife and I experienced southern hospitality at its finest. The property is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and Michael and Vanessa made us feel like we were visiting life long friends. We were in the area to visit Jack Daniel’s Distillery which was less than 10 minutes away. If you’re looking for a get away where you will be treated like family make a reservation and stay here.
