We stayed at Aratinga Inn for five nights and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. It was so good that we found ourselves coming back every day for tea time just to enjoy their delicious homemade cakes. The inn also has a lovely common area where you can relax, read, or watch something, which added to the cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The property itself is beautiful. The garden is spectacular and a joy to spend time in, and the presence of their adorable cats made the stay feel even more special. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and enjoy your surroundings. We also really appreciated the thoughtful extras — they provide beach towels, umbrellas, and even a well-prepared information package about the island, along with tour options. These small details made a big difference and showed how much they care about their guests’ experience.

There were a couple of downsides, though. During heavy rain, the internet connection became unreliable, and we experienced an issue with the tap water — it turned a soil-like color, likely due to a leak or contamination. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice in time and used it to brush my teeth, which resulted in a stomach issue. I hope this is something they can address with their water system. Additionally, mosquito protection could be improved. Either mosquito nets around the beds or window screens would be very helpful, as the number of bites I got during the stay was quite high. Overall, despite these issues, our stay was very pleasant and full of charm. With a few improvements, this place could be truly exceptional.

Beautiful little Pousada in Abraão! The room is very comfortable, the breakfast fresh and good variety, served by really lovely ladies and the owner a very nice gentleman who has pride on his property. He genuinely wanted us to feel welcome and have a good time. The garden is very well maintained and the little details around the property are nicely done.

La posada es preciosa, las habitaciones divinas. Tienen una merienda riquísima, la atención impecable.
