The Tirta Sari Villas

Stunningly beautiful location. Listening to the sounds of the paddies at night was like nature's orchestra at its finest. Room was large and bright, although the whole place is showing signs of wear. We loved how remote the location is and never waited longer than 10 minutes for a Grab.

The restaurant was limited and pretty average. Staff are not particularly attentive.

The best room view I could ever imagine. Just in the middle of rice fields it provides the most relaxing environment. The room was very big and the mattresses comfortable.

The flights of stairs might be a problem for some people. Food (breakfast and dinner) is just average.

Tirta Sari itself is a very nice hotel property. We arrived and loved the property. We gave it a 7 because even though it’s beautiful, it also needs some renewing. The cabin itself was very spacious, great bed, a fridge and huge bathroom. But the bathroom was moldy and needed upgrading. The staff is very helpful, friendly. It’s a nice place to stay, very relaxing but for the price a bit outdated.

The surroundings were beautiful. The pool was really nice and refreshing with a stunning view. We could rent a scooter from reception which was very convenient. Also appreciated the mini fridge in the room.

Property was pretty remote and hard to get to, even for the taxi. The accommodation was once beautiful for sure but currently severely in need of renovation. As soon as we entered the room we were hit by the smell of mould. The power in the area had gon out before we arrived and came back on about 1 hour later. It then turned out the aircon in the room was broken. They managed to fix it on the last evening of our stay. The whole cottage is badly water damaged. The roof leaked, there were puddles on the floor in the morning. The sheets felt clammy and were covered in little brown stains. They did smell fresh though, so did the shower towels. The mosquito net didn't shut all the way. The curtains in the bathroom had mould stains on then and at night I lay awake from the smell of mould. Mould could be seen in the wall behind the bed. Limited food options in the restaurant and nowhere nearby to get anything. If not for the kind service of all the staff the rating would have been even lower. The staff were incredibly sweet but I would not stay here again in this condition.

The resort mistakenly missed our reservation which had already been confirmed and paid in Booking.com and the rooms were fully occupied on the day we checked in. They just asked us to checked in at the other resort in the middle of jungle.
