B&B and Self Catering Mon Petit Cottage

Wonderful B&B in a lovely area with shops, bars & restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean. The host Cathy is amazing, so friendly and informative. There is a choice of breakfasts and they are all delicious with plenty of food. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing, and we can’t wait to return.

This is probably the best B&B we have stayed in. The hosts are fantastic. Breakfast was top notch homemade! Loved the French emphasis.

The pictures did not do justice to how lovely Mon Petit was. Very clean, modern, great views, quiet, and Cathy and Paul as hostess and host were perfect…. And did I mention the great breakfast. To sum up, just wonderful

What an outstanding experience. Mon Petit Cottage is a small B & B between Dublin and Waterford. Cathy made the experience so special. From the greeting on arrival to the local recommendations and a fantastic homemade breakfast with a French flair. Fresh coffee is roasted onsite and the view of the mountains is gorgeous. Our favorite stay in Ireland!!

This is a very warm and welcoming cottage with a beautiful, light and comfortable atmosphere. The hostess - Cathy was very friendly and helpful. It is a newly built cottage that Cathy herself has designed from her dreams with all the modern amenities (including a washer and dryer). There are three very spacious and beautifully decorated ensuites. The breakfast must be mentioned as Cathy is a remarkable cook. But be prepared and come with an appetite. By the way, if you want to experience the Irish countryside, there are trails and hikes nearby that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding villages and farmlands. Watch out for the sheep on the drive up! Or not, instead, stop and take some remarkable pictures, the sheep are quite cooperative and photogenic. We were there in late summer and all the pink heather on the hillsides were in bloom! We have traveled the world and this is one of the nicest places that we have stayed. We will definitely return when we return to Ireland.
