Prosbel Hotel

The room.was very good. Sadly the free airport shuttle is non-excisting. And breakfast included is only for one person the second person has to pay. Wifi was also very poor.

The staff got room service order wrong insisting I pay for what I neither order nor consume.

The staff at Prosbel are very helpful and welcoming. They were able to give me advice on the local area and I was free to ask questions without hesitation. Location was close to most places, however it is not yet a well-known area to drivers so they either drove past it or it was easier for me to meet them outside of the hotel. The room size was big and was always clean. The room service food was very good, 24hrs too and would recommend. The rooms that included breakfast you could have it in your room instead of in the restaurant, something I had not seen in Europe/Americas, so a bonus.

The internet at Prosbel is the biggest let down. I think I had good internet for only one of the 6 days I stayed at the hotel. I had to use Mywifi or my phone for work, which was disappointing. The staff weren't able to resolve the problem and it affected even watching streaming services like Netflix or Youtube on the TV.

Prosbel hotel is a good place to stay, nice, confortable and clean. People are very nice

So the problem was that in bookings it says that you can pay in USD, however when you get there you can only pay in naira, and those days was difficult to get nairas.

I like the quality

The hotel is centrally located and easy to access by taxi. The staff is amicable and always willing to support you. The decor and aesthetics of the room are top-notch. As a woman traveling alone, security is critical and the team is very security conscious. I was informed before any guest came to visit and received a call to check if everything was okay after the guest left. The management addressed my concerns timely when I raised it, which was appreciated. I have stayed at the hotel twice and will return.

While the rooms are tastefully done, the facility's maintenance seems to be lacking. My toilet was leaking and the shower head was not working. The quality of the cleaning service can be improved. My room was not consistently cleaned and when the room was cleaned, it was not done well (especially the bathroom). There were times when used plates (including leftover food) from other rooms were left outside the doors for several hours and were not picked up by the restaurant staff. The internet access was a great disappointment. I have never been able to use it consistently and have had to go out of the hotel to get work done virtually. The Internet is a major concern for business travelers who need to get work done.
