Polite staff

Basic small room. Small TV.. Basic food menu for room price

This property exceeded all my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, beds comfy and perfectly located right outside Bath. It was so very quaint and simply felt ‘special’ especially after spending the day in Bath. It had private parking (with no charge). The staff was super friendly breakfast the next morning was exceptional. It was reasonably priced also. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Frühstück war ok

Das Zimmer Nr. 9 im Haupthaus war durch eine Tür die zum Restaurant WC führte über eine schmale Treppe zu erreichen. Direkt ca. 3 Meter neben dem Fenster war die Küchenabluftventilation. Dadurch hatten wir während des Küchenbetriebes die Lüftungsgeräusche und die Gerüche im Zimmer. Nach der Küchenschliessung lief dann immer wieder das Kühlagregat des Kühlhausese an, die ganze Nacht über. Das Kühlhaus stand natürlich direkt unter dem Fenster. Das Waschbecken war super klein und das Wasser lief nur sehr zögerlich ab. Auf unserer 14 tägigen Reise war das das teuerste und gleichzeitig das einzige mal, dass wir eine so schlechte Bewertung abgegeben haben.

The room was very clean and the staff were polite. Location was good to.

I was very disappointed with the food it was not good at all. Very limited menu which offered basic food. Didn't even offer a steak option. The price charged did not meet the quality of food. Even the breakfast wasn't great we stayed for two nights and only went for breakfast the first morning.the second morning we found somewhere else. Such a shame because the pub and the room was lovely.
