L’endroit est magnifique. Au réveil, oiseaux-mouches et pélicans étaient au rendez-vous. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. L’hôte était disponible et sympathique. Un plus : le restaurant en arrière de l’hébergement. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon. Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement.

German was very professional, friendly & helpful. He has a lot of knowledge about birds. The accomodations were very nice with a wonderful covered patio/mirador for watching the birds, with a beautiful view of the mountains & valley below.

Eigenaar heeft enorme vogelkennis en is super vriendelijk. Accommodatie is basic maar goed en schoon. Het uitzicht fenomenaal. De ochtend starten met zien van al die kleurrijke vogels is bijzonder.

Afstand tot Mindo was langer dan verwacht maar prima te doen met een taxi.

Sandero de las aves resides in amazing location! In the middle of a forest in the mountains and have a great view. You can see few species of Hummingbirds and other birds just from your balcony. In the feeders nearby I saw Tayra some tanagers and Guayaquil woodpecker. The room is very spacious and include a kitchen with refrigerator. Germán the owner is an in excellent guy, always ready to help you in everything and show you the birds in the area (such as pauraque and white-throated crake). Regarding arriving – my advice is having a car since its few kilometers from town in the mountains. Bottom line – great place for birders and nature lovers.

Se fue la luz las dos noches que estuvimos, pero la persona encargada nos ayudó para cargar los celulares en otra habitación

Un endroit au milieu de la nature avec des colibris et mammifères jamais vus ailleurs. Un accueil sympathique. Pas de cuisine dans les chambres au rez de chaussée mais un restau à côté. Plats pas chers et très bons.

A 4 km du CV, les taxis demandent 5 € pour y monter.
