BEACHWAY INN

Walls were paper thin. First room we got was not really clean. All TVs were unplugged and found a Cheeto on the floor. The room didn’t smell fresh. They gave us a free upgrade and the guy at the desk was apologetic and was nice. But this property is also right across the street from the railroad tracks.

everything worked very well, room with good space, good living room and equipped kitchen, we didn't use cleaning service by choice, quiet parking, great location, restaurants etc, I recommend it!

At first glance it’s not too pleasing to the eyes. Weathered spongy ramp access, poorly lit, by a street light across the street. Upon entering I discovered a freshly renovated living space, 95% of everything inside was brand new. I had the signature bungalow. Dining area, full kitchen bathroom, and behind its own door, the bedroom, had its own separate bathroom. Two flatscreen TVs loaded with plenty to watch. Now, that being said, here are the few things I feel need work. Two vehicles were parked with their grills three feet out of my bedroom window, and I was woken up from my sleep several times each day with their horns when they locked them up after being parked, they shouldn’t be allowed to park in my spaces whether I have a car or not. If I was in my own car, where would I park??? Attached to my portion of the house was a carport with a dusty old car with 4 flats. Between that and my living room wall was a small room, maybe an old utility room, with access behind the building. Every sound the person in that tiny room made, I heard, dirty movies, whatever, but even with my TV volume up, you could tell if someone was home next door or not! It needs soundproofing! We saw a few roaches, but two in a week wouldn’t be what I would call a roach problem. Not very nice though! I still feel I got a good deal, would I stay there again? In a second!!!

The property had limited amenities. There is no ice machines or other similar conveniences. same with the small kitchen, yes coffee machine but no coffee. Similarly the tv never worked. The hotel has roku smart sets they expect you to use your personal accounts to access programs. Despite privacy concerns I tried but the smart tv did not recognize my iPhone. However, my biggest issue was the lack of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in the room.

It’s always a pleasure staying here, we enjoy that the surrounding community is very quiet, stores are in walking distance, and comfortable as well as the kitchen that’s fully stocked with utensils since I’ll still do some cooking on vacation.

The place was the best, quiet, beautiful, clean and cozy.

The room was decent. The concierge was difficult to get in touch with in the late hours. The tv remotes were missing and the couch had stain on it as well as condom wrappers under the cushion. First and last time.
