Vana is heaven on earth. A must for anyone looking to give both your mind and your body a total reset. It is my happy place. The rooms are incredible, the food is exquisite and the treatments are second to none. I go back twice year.

The centralised booking staff are not great but once you get handed over to the team that run the hotel, everything runs a lot smoother and everyone is far more relaxed about check in and out times etc. The team at the hotel are BRILLIANT. The mobile phone policy needs improving. Over the years, more guests are bringing phones and apple watches to meditations and they buzz and vibrate all the time. The apple watches flash and blink. Finally the amazing sound bath and music therapy sessions are being ruined by snorers. They should be asked to leave the session.

Literally every single need, want or wish I had was met with enthusiasm, expertise and joy. I have never experienced such care, kindness and attention at any stay anywhere. The team clearly knows what they are doing and feels great purpose in doing it.

The decor is beautiful. BUT, the 50 shades of beige made it difficult to see some steps and other potential hazards. I tripped and fell on day one because I couldn't distinguish a set of stairs. It wasn't bad and it's probably not an issue for people with better eyesight than me. More signage may be the answer. It IS a beautiful space.

Best wellness retreat hotel in the world by far. [But dont tell anyone as want to always be able to get a room.] The food is extraordinary and prepared personally to suit your diet plan. The wellness programmes are fabulous, the staff excellent.
