"Spacious, clean and comfortable but lacking in some respects."

Very clean, and the room and balcony were very spacious. Lovely views.

No sun loungers by one of the pools. Staff were polite and attentive but very expectant of tips, which became tiresome. Quite a way from town.

Excellent hospitality and location. Very clean. Amazing views of Udaipur city, mountains and nearby forts. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and the attendants were very polite, hospitable and helpful. The resort is like a palace, great views of sunrise, clear skies at night. Away from hustle-bustle of Udaipur city.

As a NRI with non-Indian passport, at no point we were told that we have to bring our OCIs as well. We have stayed in other 5* hotels and beyond the passport, no one asks for OCI, even if they do ask they are happy with parents' OCI. The reception staff were quite adamant and we produce for children as well. I enquired afterwards from reliable sources, apparently there is an option to fill some Form and take an undertaking if kids' OCIs are not present; that should have sufficed. However, these guys were unhelpful, obtuse and rigid and left a very bad impression at the start. Otherwise the stay was fabulous. The reception staff should try to be more sensible, hospitable and understanding. Perhaps, they treat foreign tourists (esp. Indians) differently!
