GBSpectacular views of mountains and Aegean from spacious well-furnished terrace. Immaculate villa with cosy feel in tranquil surroundings. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer and dining area. The ensuite although small clean and perfectly adequate. Swimming pool clean and surrounded by non-slip tiling and sunbeds.
Downstairs bedroom overlooking pool: unable to open door due to curtain pole too low! Locks a little temperamental and feared being locked out. Laundry detergent for washing machine would have been good. Recommend hiring vehicle as only 1 taxi driver prepared to drive up to villa.
PLThe view is absolutely breathtaking, you can see the whole Skopelos Bay from the terrace. The local resident is very helpful and responsive. Both, inside and outside, the villa is very comfortable. There are two 6-people tables, one in the kitchen and the other one on the terrace, so you can enjoy your food and company outside as well. The private pool was amazing, I enjoyed it a lot even though we were there in May. There's also a big barbecue grill. It's close to the upper parts of the Skopelos town, so with 15min walk you can reach its restaurants, and in 20min the port and the marina.
DEGreat pool, very clean, easy communication with owner. We loved sitting on the terrace. Kitchen had most of what we needed. Within walking distance to Skopelos town (very steep hill coming back).
For some reason, the keys need to be inside the house for the electricity (and therefore major appliances, except the fridge) to work. So you cannot run the dishwasher or washing machine while you are away from the house which we found very inconvenient and strange. Bathrooms are quite old and could use updating. The ensuite especially has a very small shower and awkward showerhead.
DKLocation is great and quiet, not far away from Skopelos town with reachable proximity to the old center. Grill and pool areas are cosy. Lots of flowers like roses, night flower etc. Overall Sporades are very green with picturesque views and lovely beaches esp. Kastani.
A bit windy terrasse, likely because of valley and overall moderate temperatures in June this year. But stunning view over the bay and the town overweight it.
