Captivating 4 bedroom house in Northern Ireland

We loved staying in Sperrinview House. It was well located for our trip and the views across to the Sperrin Mountains was outstanding. We had a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival and they were always on hand if we needed help. On our return from a days trip out it was lovely to come back to a cosy welcoming house. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The location is ideal due to being in the centre of Northern Ireland, which meant that day trips were no more than 30-40 mile trip at the most. The owners were extremely helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. It was also a very peaceful location despite being fairly close to the town centre. The local supermarket is less than a mile away.

If you are 6ft plus, you might struggle to get comfortable in the beds. I'm 6ft3 and my feet were over the end of the wooden frame of the bed which was a bit uncomfortable. It's not a deal breaker though! The light fitting in the downstairs toilet could also present an issue for taller people. I came into contact with it frequently as it's over the sink and difficult to avoid. It would be a simple fix for the owners though, again, a very minor point which doesn't detract from the experience. Lastly, I felt that some of the pots and pans were well past it, especially the small frying pan. Again, a minor point.

The property is very spacious and comfortable. It is tastefully decorated throughout and has everything you would need for your stay. The views are stunning!

The property was excellent It was in a great location 10 mins walk from town centre The decor of the property was beautiful and had been recently refurbished and the owners everything perfectly in place

Nothing it was perfect

Fantastic communication right from the off when I made my booking. The host was absolutely lovely and met us on arrival at the house, showed us all around and I was very pleased with my booking. Also a great touch a basket with essentials tea,coffee, milk, biscuits, milk which was a great help Location was perfectly placed for getting to Magherafelt only 5 minutes away, peaceful and beautiful view of the town, countryside and mountain.

Absolutely stunning views, 5 star facilities in and around the house. The owners were so warm and friendly it made us feel like we had a second home.
