Our (very short) stay was terribly disappointing. We arrived at 3pm to find the place hadn't been cleaned well at all, with crumbs and hair around the place, the bathtub full with grimey water and hairs floating in it and wet towels folded and left on the beds. We unfortunately had to leave due to a family emergency at 8pm that same night, so didn't sleep in the house at all, but the host refused to refund any money as we had booked for a 2 night stay. Communication with the host was great until there was issues and then it stopped. We even had to demand the £100 cleaning deposit back as this was not returned in a timely manner. The decor is dated and gaudy, although everyone's taste varies of course. One of the beds in the smaller room has possibly the worst mattress I've ever felt with the springs basically sticking out the top. I fail to see how anyone could sleep on it. My advice is to avoid the place if you have another option.
