The room is clean and spacious, though there are obvious stains on the carpet especially in the corridor. The staff at the reception counters and in the restaurant are kind, patient and helpful. The surrounding of the property feels tranquil and safe. The scenery looking from the property should be very good. Unfortunately, on the day we stayed there, it was cloudy and drizzling, and we didn’t have much time staying in the property, it’s pity that we couldn’t enjoy the view.

Raining upon our arrival so my husband parked along the curb to allow me to checkin (there’s no sheltered area). I was told we had to move our car for the buses. Made us feel like the group tours were more important guests. It’s inconvenient to get to the building in which our room was located especially in the rain. We had to circle the property a few times because of the one way streets. The room needs to be upgraded. The furniture shows a lot of wear. Three restaurants on the property, but neither a refrigerator nor microwave in the room for any leftovers. With the Princess name attached just expect a higher quality room for $300 per night.

Mixed bag. Start w the excellent: food @ 20230 restaurant (waiter Sam was a 10!). Beds were so comfortable. Nice linens. Now the so-so: had 3 interactions w desk staff — not brusque but also not cordial/abrupt might fit best. Now the not good: couldn’t order to-go/had to order @ desk (even though it’s #3 on the QR code telephone number but no one answered). What restaurant in 2025 doesn’t take texts/calls/online orders? Bldg 21 needs painting and new wallpaper. Also couldn’t find elevator to take all our 9-day luggage/stuff to 2nd floor. Looked all 3 days. Either it’s hidden or a serious accommodation problem.

Beautiful view of Denali if the weather cooperates. Nice clean, spacious room. Quiet location and great lobby. Grab and go works for those wanting to get out early. We didn’t realize though that it was a 2 hour drive to the park entrance where we would take a tour. Additionally, we were on the second floor and there were no elevators so carrying our luggage was a bit difficult.

Our groups only negative feedback would be the North Fork restaurant, because it is not advertised that reservations were required so we went expecting to get on a wait list and told there was no list and were turned away since we did not have reservations. I did not see the word "reservations " anywhere on their web site, recommended or otherwise. Other than that one issue we all loved the facilities, the room and the staff.

The property is made up of many distinct separate buildings. Many of the buildings did not have parking anywhere near the entrance. That meant you either had to pull up to a place where you couldn’t leave your car just to unload and get in the building and then move your car to a different location. Or you had to park in the assigned parking and huff your luggage a far distance to get to your building.Anyone with mobility challenges would find it impossible to maneuver this situation. Our room itself was very dated. It was stripped of all amenities. There weren’t even any cups to use in the bathroom. Claiming it was a move to be eco-friendly. I thought it was just a no-frills overpriced very basic room. The room also had very inadequate lighting. There was no place to sit and read a book. It was so dark.
