The MG Villa & SPA

The hotel is easily accessible from the harbour. You can take a day trip to West Nusa Penida as well as East Nusa Penida. The villas were cute, and the pool is big and allows for a nice swim. Overall, we were happy with the hotel.

The breakfast was the worst that we have had in Bali. We tried Indian food (one of the chutneys was so sour we couldn't eat it) and Western food (it was okay but not great).

Die Unterkunft ist eigentlich schön gestaltet, geräumig und gut gelegen. Das Mieten von Rollern ist problemlos möglich und empfehlenswert.

Die Sauberkeit sollte verbessert werden. Besonders im Badezimmer waren Schimmelspuren und Kalkablagerungen sichtbar, und einige Handtücher waren nicht ganz sauber. Auch im Zimmer und auf der Veranda wäre eine gründlichere Reinigung (z. B. Tische, Türgriffe, Geländer, Aschenbecher) wünschenswert. Im Poolbereich sind einige Fliesen und Holzflächen beschädigt. Manche Bretter mit Nägel am Fußboden sind sehr lose, wenn man nicht aufpasst konnte man sich schnell verletzen. Einige Liegen wirken abgenutzt. Wenn hier mehr auf Hygiene und Instandhaltung geachtet wird, könnte die Unterkunft viel schöner sein.

Niets, alles ok

Dated but nice bungalows with nice bathrooms. The beds were comfy. My AC stopped working the second night I was there and they came to check it and promptly moved me to another room. The property is near a nice restaurant called Joglo Penida … worth a look!

It’s quite dated and desperately needs maintenance both inside the rooms and the grounds. Pool area was once lovely a few years back I’m sure but needs a facelift. Some pool times are chipped on the stairs that enter the pool in quite a dangerous position where someone could easily cut themselves. There is not enough shade around the pool for pool loungers so it’s not a place you can chill for the day. With extra shade and getting the pool bar up and running again, it could really regenerate the place. Some painting and planting of trees to surround the pool area and a good makeover of the gardens in general would help. It’s quite sad as there is so much potential but no love being poured into the place. Too much money per night for what it is. We paid same amount per night in Nusa Lembongan and got much more value for money in more luxurious villas.

The shower was great and the staff .

The breakfast is very poor, you’re only allowed one coffee and can choose either juice or water. In all the other places I stayed around Bali and the Gili Islands, water was always provided for free. The eggs tasted awful and weren’t cooked properly. Overall, it’s really not worth it. I also had two samosas at the restaurant, which cost me £3.98,—very expensive for what I got. There seem to be no rules for the pool. One night I couldn’t sleep because some guests were drinking and jumping into the pool, making a lot of noise.

Personál bol veľmi ústretoví.

Komunikácia. Aj po potvrdení odvozu z prístavu neprišli. Museli sme si zobrať taxi. Potom už iba drobnosti ako iba jedna šálka na izbe.
