Thomas Rose Inn

The room was perfect. A quaint lil spot in the heart of Lewisburg, and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The ONLY thing bad I can say is there is a lot of traffic noise..but I slept like a baby anyway. I loved my stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful historic hotel. There was no staff on site, but all the information I needed to get into the property and our room was texted to us prior to arrival. Parking was free and easy and our executive suite was very spacious. One of the things we loved most about the room were the original uneven wood floors. They were a bit creaky, but that just made it more authentic. The proximity to downtown and restaurants was excellent. We even left a pillow in the room and they contacted us immediately to let us know before we got too far away and left it for us in a convenient location to pick up.

Easy walk to good restaurants and shops. Complimentary water, soft drinks, wine and champaign. Nice common area. Good self service coffee machine. Our first floor room was spacious.

There could be a light over the entrance to help with the unusual lock system. Seniors do not like a toilet so close to the floor...a seat with a 3" rise is needed. Grab bars are needed for the very high tub. Coupled with a billowing shower curtain at the faucet end, we chose not to risk a shower. There needs to be a small table next to the bath sink because the sink's rim can't hold much. Six regular pillows plus throws on the bed are overkill...we had excess pillows piled around for our stay. No closet to hang things. We missed chatting with the innkeeper.

The whole house was so warm and inviting. There were sodas, wine, and coffee available downstairs. The room was neat and clean, the bed was comfortable, I would highly recommend this property. The check-in and checkout process was so easy, Paula was a big help when we needed her via text.

Historic house, lovely town, great restoration!!! you can walk to everything with the exception of some of the areas top recreational opportunities like the Greenbrier River Trail, The only issue is noise from surrounding traffic and keep in mind this house is 220 years old - it creaks!

Just BEAUTIFUL. Beautiful room, grounds, everything!!

Well maintained inn with lots of extra touches. The owner was attentive with any questions that arose during our stay. Beautiful little town with lots of dining options within walking distance. Our room also included a fully stocked kitchen with high-quality appliances.
