Nice hotel, convenient location 5 mins to metro station. However the immediate area is the old old old gold market with old awfull alleys. Which for Doha standard are among the no so nice remnants of the city before it was ripped appart and renovated rebuilt. Hotel has amazing view from the top terrace restaurant, good 24hour gym, amazing front desk staff, amazing cleaning staff, room windows don't close properly and noise enters. Rooms are good and tv offers smart connection to Netflix prime for free

This is a lovely hotel. The staff was very helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the hotel and the food was good. We were there for a few hours during a 10hr layover just long enough to eat,shower and catch a few hours sleep. I would stay there again.

Very nice HOtel .. close to Gold Markets … anyone who is interested to buy gold jewelry should book this place. The hotel staffs are way too nice !!!

Central Inn Souq Waqif was a very affordable and convenient base to explore Old Town Doha (including the Souq Waqif traditional market for dining and shopping, about a half-mile away, and the fantastic Museum of Islamic Art, about one mile away). The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and had a very friendly early check-in and late check-out policy, which is useful for passengers spending a night or two transiting on flights at odd hours (the hotel only charged 50 Qatari riyal each for a very early check-in [7:30am] and a pretty late check out [5:00pm]). The service was also very friendly, with the one exception that the restaurant manager didn't allow us to eat some of our leftovers in the hotel restaurant while we waited to go back to the airport (instead we sat in the hotel lobby to eat, so I'm not sure why he thought that was any better). I strongly recommend the Central Inn Souq Waqif for a visit to Doha!
