Hotel Stella

Clean, modern hotel - best I’ve seen in Central or West Africa. Great AC! Comfortable beds. Quiet. Receptionist was kind enough to call my scheduled driver to get update.

Breakfast could be better. No water was available. At 7:30am much of the food was gone and wasn’t replaced.

Hotel Stella's cleanliness surpasses that of many hotels I have visited. The staff is attentive, and the hotel manager is accessible and ready to receive feedback. This shows me their commitment to continuous improvement. My stay was just wonderful.

The waiting/queue time was a bit longer, but I understand this was due to the staff shortage or shift.

I liked how clean and tidy it was, a 5-star experience I must say! Great location next to a shopping centre which was quite convenient. The staff were very polite - from security guards, to receptionists, kitchen staff as well as cleaning staff. Initially I was sceptical about the area as I was told high insecurity around there, I did not witness any insecurity, unrest or trouble at all during my short stay.

Just a couple of minor things really, I'd still choose this hotel and highly recommend it to people even if these minor issues aren't fixed. I just wished I could watch local TV channels which I couldn't find when browsing. I did ask at the reception and the receptionist was kind enough to call it in but they never came to reprogramme it. Also, fridge wasn't as cold as it could have been and lastly, I think they should have two key cards, especially for the deluxe room that's advertised for two people.
