Moulton Inn & Suites By OYO Near Shiner TX

Nice clean and quiet.

The TV sound did not work. I couldn't find the wifi password in the room.

Did not eat breakfast - did not look like much was available. The lady at the front desk was very friendly.

Nothing specifically. It was about what I would expect for a tiny little town like Moulton. I wish it was cheaper but it met our need for a one-night visit attending a wedding. No one was there to check us in, and the key was just sitting on the counter with a sign saying to call for check in. Lost the call due to poor reception. Took the key. Returned from our event that evening where there was no cell signal to multiple calls from owner of motel threatening to call cops because we had not paid for our stay. ?? That was a head scratcher ?? Paid on the way out. Our card was on file with the booking service. Kind of weird - but it is a very small town in the middle of a lot of very small towns.

New owners are so nice and made the stay wonderful. Looking forward to coming back!

Bob service was great

Clean towels & wash clothes still looked dirty. Rooms could use some updates.

Prized price. The rooms were recently upgraded.Trendy decor. Instead of tiny bottles of hygiene products hard to open like other places, here they had a dispensable shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower using rich products for their fine guests.

Location and staff. Nice little small town cafe across the street and fantastic restaurant next block over. Staff worked hard and were friendly and helpful.

Nothing

The room would not cool down to a comfortable setting. The carpet was stained and afraid to walk without some form of footwear. Towels were stained and we did not shower due to uncleaned towels. Staff was never in the office to ask question and address concerns

We reserved this hotel months in advance for a festival only to have them cancel on us last minute leaving us scrambling to find other accomdatioba. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM as this was unacceptable
